After watching Matt use it on Bloggingheads television, I ordered this Logitech notebook headset on Amazon. I like to listen to music while I work, and even more than that, I like to conduct my telephone interviews on Skype so that I can record them straight to my hard drive. Amazing fact number one: I ordered it yesterday afternoon, and even though I didn't opt for overnight service, it was on my desk when I got back from lunch today. Amazing fact number two: the sound is better than my old headset. Amazing fact number three: I no longer look like I am preparing to land a World War II cargo plane. I think I'm in love.

Should I call myself a feminist?
People don't think you're a feminist, because you don't give two shits about feminist ideas outside of ideal thoughts about how women would be more equal to men if we comically aped masculinity rituals like waving guns around. I don't think you're anti-feminist so much as just too self-absorbed and an intellectual lightweight to really be considered a feminist.
Series III TivoIs it worth spending over $500 on a Tivo? I'm sorry to report that it is. The Series Three has all the functionality that made its older products the best DVRs around: an intuitive user interface, transparent menus, simple and fast recording. Now it's added HD capability and two cable cards so you can record and watch at the same time (or record two shows). With the cable cards, the most annoying feature about older Tivos--the latency switching channels--has disappeared. They've also added new features that prove surprisingly useful, such as the ability to download movies on a whim from Amazon's Unbox service. I'd give up my dishwasher before I'd part with this. Claremont Review of Books, Summer 2007 Lord Have Mercy"I have been writing this book all my life," Christopher Hitchens declares in God is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything, "and intend to keep on writing it." One hopes that someone will have the courage to firmly suggest that he stop. The Atlantic, July/August 2007 Crises of FaithThe aftermath of 9/11 has thrown the contrast between a religious America and a secular Europe into sharp relief. But our era may be remembered as the moment when the religious gulf between the continents began to slowly close.

you forgot to add that it doesn't cause as many hair issues...
and when those croak, I recommend these, because the sound is superior:
Sennheiser Apple Compattible
I used them with Dragon Naturally speaking, and the voice recog apple software, and for listening. Though being a snob, I finally went back to having a real CD-player and some nice Senn wireless headphones, for when I want to listen while at work, because it just sounds better to me...
