This is neat: Puerto Rico as a natural experiment in immigration economics.
Puerto Rico showed what Open Border really means when about 35% of its population moved to the U.S. after WWII. We had to start a massive subsidization of Puerto Rico through tax breaks and welfare payments to get them to stop coming to America.
