Eight months of deadlock with nothing getting done? Maybe THIS is what brooksfoe meant when he suggested six threads ago that the US needs to modernize its government. Sign me up!
More proof that Belgium as a state, serves no purpose. No national government for close to a year and everything just goes swimmingly. Better than usual, I'd wager.
Belgium-as-a-state serves the vital purpose of preventing other states from taking control of the area while they are enjoying the benifits of no-government.
The solution is that we should all adopt a government requiring a super majority of 90% to approve any legislation.
