I also just finished Psmith, Journalist, which had somehow escaped my Wodehouse collection until now. This I recommend unreservedly. I especially recommend it while watching The Wire, as I am now doing, because Wodehouse's humorous description of New York City gangs before World War I is startlingly similar to the Baltimore streets, except with different slang and Irish names.

Really? I don't remember that at all. I'll have to stop rereading Leave it to Psmith and Psmith, Journalist, another go.

Now I want to start a blog and call it "Cozy Moments". "Cozy Moments shall not be muzzled!"

Yay! Glad you're a Psmith fan. Of course, I'd expect nothing less... I think an extended Wodehouse/Wire post is called for...

"Cozy Moments"indeed. A publication with a proper promise to its faithful readers.

Megan, you get a silver star for finishing two books on the same day, especially during work hours. I am so proud of you. From now on, every time you finish reading a book, post about it immediately. Tell us that you actually finished reading a book (although I forget what happened to Jane Addams). But we want to know what you're reading because you are so smart. We so want to know!

Now, write for us book reports about both of those books you finished reading, 500 words or less, without attacking Greenwald or Krugman.

Psmith Journalist was written far back enough that it's online for free at Project Gutenberg.

Oh, for heaven's sake, Blake, give it a rest, will you?
