I was born in 1964- thus, the only "legally permissable" 'racial discrimination' during my entire lifetime has been "affirmative action".
I would also think my five years in a prison with an 80%+ "black" population gives me a few "insights" about "race relations" that Ta-Nehisi possibly hasn't seen- possibly due to the lack of other "typical black males" at his level of achievement and success...
