Reader Lincoln McClain sent me these clips of the 1930s.  I'd say they're a good way to waste an hour, but it doesn't really seem like a waste.

Plus they had a real environmental disaster, not like our lame global warming "maybe there will be a problem in 50 or 100 years" scare. Al Gore, eat your heart out.

To be fair I don't think she really deserves to be listed among rightbloggers, especially when her only sin is a general sort of cluelessness that infects her blogging.

Why would she need a defense? It's an honor!
